About this event
The BVRT Festival of Cycling returns on Saturday 1 August 2026 for a full day of gravel cycling, community and celebration on the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail. Riders will travel through open farmland and rolling bushland before finishing at the event village in Yarraman.
Choose Your Ride
- 161km: Wulkuraka to Yarraman, starting at 6:00am. This is the full Brisbane Valley Rail Trail end-to-end challenge.
- 75km: Toogoolawah to Yarraman, starting at 8:00am.
- 50km: Moore to Yarraman, starting at 9:00am.
Multiple distances make the festival suitable for riders seeking an endurance challenge as well as cyclists looking for a social day on the trail. Full event support is provided along the route so participants can focus on the ride.
Finish-Line Festival
At the finish, Yarraman Station Park will host an event village with music, food, cold drinks and a lively community atmosphere. It is a place for riders, friends and supporters to celebrate the day's achievements together.
Entry and Transport
Ride entry costs $55 for the 50km event, $90 for the 75km event and $135 for the 161km event, plus Humanitix booking fees. One-day Bicycle Queensland event insurance and return shuttle services can also be purchased during registration. Shuttle options and prices vary according to the selected route.
