About this event

Coast to Kosciuszko 2026 is Australia’s premier ultramarathon, taking runners on a 240-kilometre journey from Twofold Bay near Eden in southern New South Wales to Charlotte Pass, with a summit of Mt Kosciuszko along the way.

Held as an invitational race, it is not open entry and places are limited to around 60 runners. Entry is by application and ballot, with qualifying standards required.

The event is run over a maximum time limit of 46 hours and is known for its demanding coastal-to-alpine route, strong community ethos and reputation as one of the country’s most iconic endurance challenges.

Applications are expected to open in June 2026.
