About this event

The Coastal High Trail Runs is a trail running event set in Queensland’s Gold Coast Hinterland, taking in the scenic trails of the Lamington and Springbrook National Parks. It is scheduled for Saturday, 29 August 2026, and features race distances of 28km and 50km.

The event is known for its challenging off-road terrain, with runners traversing World Heritage-listed bushland and enjoying a course that showcases some of South-East Queensland’s most spectacular scenery. Event inclusions have been listed as a personalised technical race tee for eligible entrants, bus transfer, event photos, aid stations, electronic timing, partner discounts, a finisher’s medal and an event gift.

This is the 11th physical staging of the event, which has become a standout fixture for trail runners seeking a tough but rewarding race experience in a naturally dramatic setting.
