Description
Organiser: Trail Trips & Events
Join us for the Mateship Run, a meaningful 11.11km event in Currumbin, Gold Coast, QLD, Australia, on Sunday, November 8, 2026—perfectly timed to honour Remembrance Day.
Choose to run solo or team up with two mates for a relay: complete one of two 2.4km legs or the 6.31km anchor to cover the full distance together.
The symbolic 11.11km distance pays tribute to the Armistice that ended World War I at the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month. The 2.4km legs reflect the Australian Forces' fitness test run.
This inspiring event raises vital funds and awareness for the Veterans Support Centre, supporting our servicemen and women.
Family-friendly options include a 5km distance and a 2.5km Kids' event, ensuring everyone can participate and pay tribute.
