Organiser: Coffs Trail Runners
The Coffs Backyard Ultra on Saturday, 6 June 2026 invites runners of all levels—from first-timers to seasoned ultra athletes—to test their endurance and mental toughness. Participants must complete a 6.706 km lap every hour, on the hour, continuing until only one runner remains.
The course follows the picturesque Coffs Creek Walkway, featuring approximately 82% shaded gravel paths, 10% boardwalk, and 8% bitumen surfaces, providing a scenic and varied running experience.
This year’s event offers $1,000 cash prizes for the last male and female runners standing, proudly sponsored by The Battery Boys.
The race operates on a donation basis; participants can contribute during registration or on race day. In alignment with environmental responsibility, this is a cup-free event—runners are encouraged to bring their own cups or water bottles for refilling at aid stations throughout the race.
