Explore Worldwide Run Forster is a scenic coastal running event in Forster, New South Wales, on Sunday 21 February 2027. Participants can choose from a half marathon, 10km, 5km or 2km event, making the program suitable for experienced distance runners, families and participants seeking a shorter challenge.
The course showcases the Forster–Tuncurry area, with runners travelling between the two towns across the bridge and enjoying views of Wallis Lake, the coastline and Forster Main Beach. The longer-course routes include sections beside the beach, foreshore paths, parkland and the rockwall, with the bridge providing the course’s principal incline.
The event village is planned for the Oyster Parade area, with the start and finish precinct near Forster’s Main Beach. The half marathon is a new addition to the 2027 program, while the 10km, 5km and 2km distances provide accessible options for a broad range of abilities.
Every finisher receives a commemorative medal. Whether competing for a personal best or enjoying an active morning by the water, participants can expect a relaxed community event featuring the distinctive scenery of the Mid North Coast.
