About this event
Join the **Murrumbidgee Canberra Rotary Club** for the iconic **Five Peaks Challenge**, a thrilling charity bike ride fundraiser on **Sunday, April 19, 2026**, starting from Stromlo Forest Park in the **Murrumbidgee** region.
This non-competitive cyclo-sportive lets you conquer up to **six scenic peaks** around Canberra—Mount Stromlo, Red Hill, Mount Pleasant, Mount Ainslie, Black Mountain, and Dairy Farmers Hill—tailoring the challenge to your fitness level.
Choose the **shorter 83 km route** (1,370 m vertical climbing) or the **longer 113 km route** (1,820 m vertical), and decide how many peaks to tackle. Skip them all for 57 km (shorter) or 80 km (longer). **All pedal bikes welcome, including electric-assist e-bikes**.
Courses are fully marked with yellow arrows and supported by volunteers. Collect your rider pack (card, map, cue sheet, and instructions) Saturday 2–4 pm or Sunday from 6:30 am. **All funds raised support selected charities**—be part of this Canberra tradition and see the city from the saddle!
