About this event
Harry’s: King of the Hill is a last-person-standing trail endurance event held in Pyalong, Victoria. Entrants tackle a repeating 4.2-kilometre circuit with around 266 to 300 metres of elevation gain each lap, completing it every hour until only one runner remains.
The course is known for its tough climbing, steep descent sections and uneven grassy terrain with scattered rocks, making it a demanding test of endurance, pacing and recovery. The event also offers cash prizes and awards for standout performances, with the main prize going to the final athlete standing.
This is a high-intensity ultra format designed for experienced runners seeking a challenging race atmosphere rather than a traditional distance event. It combines rugged terrain, repeated climbs and a competitive cut-off structure to create one of Australia’s most demanding hill-based endurance races.
