About this event
Basketball Tasmania brings its free Hoops & Games session to Moonah Sports Centre on 15 October 2026. Girls aged 5–12 can try basketball in a small-group setting led by female coaches, whether they are brand new to the game or already play.
Sessions at Moonah Sports Centre
Ages 5–6: 9–10am; 7–9: 10:30am–12:30pm; 10–12: 1:30–3:30pm
The program mixes skill-building activities, team challenges and gameplay. The organiser also invites parents and carers to bring sneakers for a Girls vs Grown-Ups finish. The individual age sessions vary in length, so choose the time that suits your child.
