About this event
Kangaroobie Klassic is a family-friendly off-road multisport adventure race in Princetown, near Victoria’s Great Ocean Road and the 12 Apostles.
The main event is designed as an inclusive introduction to multisport racing and can be entered individually or as part of a team of two, three or four. Competitors aged 14 and over complete four stages: a 1 km swim in the Gellibrand River, a 13.5 km mountain-bike course, a 5.7 km river paddle and a challenging 7 km trail run.
With separate participation options for younger competitors, the event offers activities suited to a range of ages and skill levels. Paddle equipment is available for hire as part of the entry, making it easier for newcomers to take part.
Set among the waterways, trails and rural landscapes of the Princetown area, Kangaroobie Klassic combines swimming, cycling, paddling and running in a single adventure. Participants can race solo, share the stages with teammates and enjoy an active day out in one of Victoria’s most spectacular coastal regions.
The event is held alongside the Kangaroobie Base Camp Ultra Relay, a sister event based around the trails and private land near Princetown.
