About this event
Buckley’s 24hr Adventure Race is a team-based adventure challenge in Victoria’s Otways, inspired by William Buckley’s remarkable survival story in the region. It features a full-course and a half-course option, with teams navigating a mix of trekking, mountain biking and kayaking across a demanding bush course.
The full course is a non-stop 24-hour race of around 120 kilometres or more, while the half course covers just over half that distance and still gives teams the full 24 hours to finish. Teams of two or four can enter, and the event is designed for mixed, male or female teams that can work together to plan, navigate and keep moving through varied terrain.
Expect a true endurance adventure with a course that is revealed close to race time, adding to the challenge and excitement. The event is suited to experienced outdoor teams looking for a tough but rewarding test across some of Victoria’s most scenic bushland, trails and waterways.
