Organiser: Rotary Club of Townsville Saint
This initiative of Australia Rotary Health began in 2016 and to help breakdown the stigma that continues to plague our communities. Walking and talking the hard subjects and all funds raised go 100% into research, specialising in Mental Illness that over 4 million in Australia suffer from and those are just the diagnosed people. Mental issues do not discriminate on age, creed or colour or code. The numbers mount daily of suicide in this country and its is time to LIFT THE LID on the stigma that surrounds this disease.
