About this event

Race 5 of the Launceston Mountain Bike Club’s 2026–27 Twilight Cross Country Series 1 takes place at Kate Reed Nature Recreation Area on Wednesday, 18 November 2026.

Set among the reserve’s network of mountain-bike trails, the event offers an evening of cross-country racing across small hills, short climbs and descents, and narrow, twisty tracks. Kate Reed caters for a range of riding abilities, including less experienced riders, while providing a technical and engaging setting for more confident competitors.

The event venue is the Southeastern Overflow Carpark at Kate Reed Nature Recreation Area. Parking near the reserve entrances is limited, so participants and spectators should allow time to arrive, prepare and follow any event-day directions.

As the reserve is also used by walkers and other recreational users, riders and visitors should take care around the course and follow instructions from event officials.
