About this event

The MS Sydney to the Gong Ride is an annual community cycling event that starts in Sydney and finishes in Wollongong, with riders supporting people living with multiple sclerosis. It is scheduled for Sunday 1 November 2026 and finishes at Thomas Dalton Park in Wollongong.

Riders can choose between two course options: an 80 km ride from Tempe and a 53 km ride from Engadine. The route showcases some of the region’s best coastal scenery, including the Royal National Park, ocean views from Stanwell Tops and the Sea Cliff Bridge, before the finish in Wollongong.

The event is a major fundraising ride for MS Plus, bringing thousands of participants together for a one-day challenge with a strong community spirit. It is designed for riders aged 12 and over, and the event has a reputation for attracting strong demand each year.

After crossing the finish line, riders can enjoy the dedicated Event Village in Wollongong, making the day as much about celebration as it is about the ride itself.
