About this event
The Nail Can Hill Run is a cross-country event held in Albury, featuring an 11.3km trail run and walk through rugged bushland on the Nail Can Range. The course follows fire access tracks with short sections of gravel and bitumen roads, and is marked with kilometre points, directional arrows and lines.
The race starts at 10.00am and finishes at Bonnie Doon Park in West Albury. The route runs mainly along the ridge of Nail Can Hill, with an overall downhill profile despite some early climbs, and includes a final water and first aid station late in the course. Walkers may take up to 3 hours to complete the event.
Alongside the main run, the event also includes shorter and additional challenge formats, making it a popular local day out for runners, walkers and multi-sport competitors. It is a long-running community event with strong local support and a focus on raising funds for local organisations.
