The Paluma Village Trail Run is the sixth and final event in the Outer Limits Trail Run Series, bringing the season to a close on the trails around Paluma in North Queensland.
Set in the World Heritage listed Wet Tropics rainforest, this trail run is known for its scenic but challenging course, with technical sections, creek crossings and natural trail obstacles that add to the adventure. The setting around Paluma Village is especially appealing in October, when the cooler mountain air offers a welcome escape from the heat of Townsville and the coast.
Runners can expect a true rainforest experience in one of Queensland’s most distinctive trail-running locations, with lush scenery, varied terrain and a rugged course that suits the final event of the series.
