The Point to Pinnacle & Point to Pub is a challenging road running event held in Hobart, Tasmania, on Sunday, 16 November 2025. It features two distances: the demanding Point to Pinnacle Half Marathon and the scenic Point to Pub 10K.
The Point to Pinnacle Half Marathon begins at Wrest Point Car Park and follows a route along Sandy Bay Road, turning left onto Byron Street, then left onto Davey Street at Hotel Soho. The course continues as Davey Street transitions into Huon Road, leading to a right turn onto Pillinger Drive and culminating at the summit of Mount Wellington (kunanyi). Covering 21.1 km with an elevation gain of approximately 1,270 metres, this race is both physically demanding and offers spectacular views.
The Point to Pub 10K also starts at Wrest Point Car Park, following the same initial route through Sandy Bay Road, Byron Street, and Davey Street, continuing along Huon Road to the Fern Tree Tavern. This 10 km course includes a 460-metre climb, providing a rewarding challenge for runners and walkers alike.
