Put Your Foot Down and make a real impact for pancreatic
cancer
Our Put Your Foot Down Newcastle walk has changed to a new
location, Griffith Park, Stockton and we’re inviting the Newcastle
community to join us in creating a national movement in 2023 to
help advocate for more funding and action for pancreatic cancer.
Our Put Your Foot Down walks are a fun way to start your Sunday
morning by raising awareness and funds for pancreatic cancer with
your local community.
We encourage all our walkers to dress passionately in purple with
family, friends and four-legged friends to walk in memory or
celebration of loved ones and come together for support, all while
raising critical funds for pancreatic cancer research.
The 4.2km walk will be along the picturesque Hunter River and
prizes will be awarded for the best dressed and highest
fundraisers.
Funds raised from our Put Your Foot Down walks go toward helping
achieve our mission of dramatically increasing survival rates and
quality of life for those impacted by pancreatic cancer.

September

Fundraise for people living with pancreatic cancer
Fundraising fuels medical research which is critical to improving
outcomes for pancreatic cancer patients and their families. Your
fundraising efforts provide hope to those impacted by the disease
and drive our ongoing research program, providing Australia’s best
researchers an opportunity to work towards a possible future
without pancreatic cancer. Fundraising is also easy and lots of
fun!
Walk Schedule
8:30am Event registration opens,
Merchandise sales open, Food & drinks for sale
9:30am Event start time
11:00am Prizes awarded for the highest
fundraisers and best-dressed
12:00pm Event concludes
On the day
We will be providing food and drinks for sale. Merchandise will be
available for sale or you can purchase your PanKind merch on our
online store ahead of the event. *(Postage fees apply)
