About this event

Ramsay Health Care LakeMacRun is a traffic-free running event along the picturesque Lake Macquarie foreshore, starting and finishing at Warners Bay on Sunday, 12 September 2027.

The relatively flat course follows the lakeside between Warners Bay and Speers Point, with several event options to suit different ages and abilities:

Half Marathon: a challenging long-distance event covering approximately two and a quarter laps of the course.
10.5km Fun Run: one complete lap, suitable for participants seeking a mid-distance run.
4km Family Scamper: a shorter event designed for family participation and newcomers to running.

With scenic waterfront views, a flat course and distances ranging from a family-friendly scamper to a half marathon, LakeMacRun offers an enjoyable active day out for runners, walkers and supporters in the Lake Macquarie community.
