Description
The Sandman 50, held on Sunday, 1 February 2026, is a challenging 50km beach running race from the Old Dunsborough boat ramp to Busselton Jetty and back.
The route follows the shoreline closely, staying within approximately 3 metres of the water’s edge, offering runners a unique coastal experience.
This event is strategically scheduled to coincide with a full moon and an exceptionally low tide, providing stunning views, cooler temperatures, and a soft, forgiving running surface.
Participants may choose to complete the entire 50km solo or compete as part of a two-person relay team, with each runner covering 25km and a changeover point at Busselton Jetty.
