About this event
The Sri Chinmoy Triple-Triathlon returns to Canberra on Sunday, 8 November 2026, for its 29th edition. Set around Belconnen and Canberra’s lakes, this demanding endurance event combines three consecutive swim, mountain-bike and run stages in a course of approximately 150 kilometres.
Participants complete:
- 1.5km swim, 35km mountain bike and 18km run
- 3.5km swim, 38km mountain bike and 11km run
- 1.2km swim, 23km mountain bike and 13km run
The course links three separate lakes and traverses Canberra’s varied terrain, including numerous climbs and descents. Entrants can tackle the full course individually or share the challenge as a relay team of three to nine people, with each athlete completing one or more stages.
Pre-entered individual competitors and teams are required to attend registration on Saturday, 7 November, between 1pm and 4pm. Relay participants hand over to the next team member at designated transitions after the previous athlete has completed their stage and been recorded by officials.
