The Bloody Long Walk - Mornington Peninsula is a 35-kilometre scenic walking event along Victoria’s coastline, designed as a challenging but accessible endurance experience. The course is a fully supported journey with regular pit stops, volunteer encouragement and plenty of chances to take in the coastal views.
The event begins at the Quarantine Station in Point Nepean National Park and finishes at Martha Cove Marina in Safety Beach. Along the way, walkers pass through some of the Mornington Peninsula’s most picturesque stretches, making it as much about the scenery and community atmosphere as the distance itself.
This event is part of the Bloody Long Walk series, which raises awareness and support for mitochondrial disease. It suits walkers looking for a rewarding day out with a strong sense of purpose, plus a memorable route through one of Victoria’s best-known coastal regions.
