The VMA 10 Mile Road Race on Sunday, 2 August 2026, is a challenging and scenic 16.09 km event for Masters athletes aged 30 and over, serving as part of the Browne Shield winter series.
This competition takes place at Knox Athletics Track (Bunjil Way, off Ferntree Gully Road, Knox, VIC), featuring a mix of flat and rolling terrain with scenic views of the surrounding area.
Runners will navigate through local neighborhoods and open spaces, offering a fun and engaging race experience on a well-marked course suitable for experienced and intermediate athletes.
To enter, participants must be affiliated with Masters Athletics (Victorian Masters Athletics); VMA members can register via the event email link, while non-members should use the specific registration link on the VMA website.
The race starts at 9:00 AM, with check-in requiring participants to arrive by 8:30 AM.
Limited on-site parking is available, and public transport options include bus routes 311 and 312 to Ferntree Gully Station.
Spectators are welcome, though there are no designated spectator areas.
