The X-Marathon is the 2026 ARWS Oceania Championship, bringing adventure racers to the Central Coast of New South Wales for a challenging two-day event on 5–6 September 2026.
Set in one of Australia’s most scenic coastal regions, the race combines endurance, teamwork and navigation across rugged bushland, sandstone cliffs, waterways and coastal landscapes. Competitors can expect a demanding adventure racing course where strategy and adaptability matter just as much as fitness.
In 2026, the event offers two course options: a Half 12-hour race and a Full 24-hour race. The full course is the championship distance, and both categories are open to teams of two and four.
The course is expected to showcase iconic local terrain, including coastal walking tracks, tidal inlets and hidden bays, with a strong focus on the natural environment and the region’s outdoor adventure appeal.
