About this event
The Yurrebilla 56K Ultra is a trail ultra through the Adelaide Hills on Sunday 27 September 2026, with courses set across national parks and conservation reserves on the western face of the ranges. The event offers 56km, 28km and 13km options, showcasing gorges, waterfalls, native wildlife and bushland scenery close to the city.
The flagship 56km course is a point-to-point run from Belair Railway Station to Foxfield Oval in Athelstone, climbing 1,865 metres and descending 2,060 metres along the way. The route stays within about 12km of central Adelaide and follows a mix of trail, access roads and fire tracks to link key sections of the course.
Runners in the longer distances can expect a well-supported trail event with marked course information, transport arrangements and drop bag services. The 28km course starts from Coach Road, while the 13km event starts and finishes at Foxfield Oval.
This is a classic Adelaide Hills challenge for experienced trail runners, combining demanding climbs, fast descents and a scenic route through some of the region’s most distinctive bushland.
