Altona Gators Basketball Club offers male and female competitions with both social and elite streams for children and adults. Whether you're a beginner or competitive player, there are opportunities to suit your skill level and goals.

  • Junior Programs: The Gators Girls Academy (ages 6-14) runs for 6-8 weeks on Sunday mornings from 9:30am-10:30am, with no prior experience required and no cost to participants. The Domestic Development Program runs Sunday mornings from 9:45am-10:45am.
  • Youth Development: The ASCEND Player Development Program is designed for athletes U12-U20 looking to improve skills and knowledge, with potential pathways to Basketball Victoria and college basketball opportunities.
  • Senior Competition: Senior Men's and Women's teams compete in BIG V competitions, with both Division 1 and social play opportunities available.
  • Specialist Training: School holiday specialist skills camps are offered for representative players, covering offensive and defensive techniques, shooting, and decision-making.
  • Rep Ready Program: Additional representative pathway programs are available at Altona Sports Centre.
