Perth Dinghy Sailing Club (PDSC) is one of Western Australia's premier sailing clubs, established in 1903 and located on the banks of the Swan River in Crawley. As a volunteer-operated, family-oriented club, PDSC welcomes sailors of all ages and skill levels.
Training & Learning: The club offers junior training programs and 'learn to sail' courses suitable for beginners through to advanced sailors. Qualified instructors provide guidance across all skill levels.
Racing & Play: PDSC hosts regular racing events and competitive sailing opportunities. Sailing is typically conducted on Saturday afternoons from mid-October to mid-April. The club offers a diverse range of sailing classes including International 14, Javelin, WASZP, Cherub, Sabre, Signet, Heron, Jay-Dee, Open Skiff, and Mudlark.
Membership: New members are welcome and encouraged to visit on a Saturday afternoon to meet friendly members. The club is entirely volunteer-operated, with opportunities available for those interested in supporting the club through volunteering. PDSC has been recognized as Australian Sailing - WA Club of the Year (Category B) for 2023 & 2024, and was a National Finalist for Club of the Year in 2024.
