DNTA offers children's tennis coaching at Melton South Tennis Club, with Hot Shots sessions and a Learn to Play programme.
Hot Shots includes a preschool programme for children aged 3–4 and after-school classes for ages 5–6. These sessions run for half an hour in groups of four. Children aged 7 and over can join hour-long Learn to Play classes in groups of eight, with a fun introduction to tennis that prepares players for Hot Shots Match Play.
The club also offers Hot Shots Match Play for children aged 6–12 who have mastered the basics in coaching. Modified equipment, smaller courts and low-compression balls help children learn tennis skills and enjoy longer rallies.
A trial lesson is available for the children's coaching programmes. Contact the coaching team using the details on this listing to enquire about joining.
