Tennis For Kids runs Hot Shots group tennis lessons at Morningside State School for children from Prep to Grade 6. Children learn through games and tennis activities using modified courts, lighter racquets and low-compression balls suited to their stage.
The programme focuses on fun, skill development and friendships, with an aim of encouraging sportsmanship and a lasting interest in tennis.
Term 4, 2026 offers Orange Ball lessons for Grades 2–4 on Wednesdays, and Red Ball for Prep–Grade 2 or Orange/Green Ball for Grades 3–6 on Fridays. Sessions run from 7:30 am to 8:25 am during the school term, excluding public holidays and pupil-free days.
Contact the coaching team to check whether your child is eligible for the school-based sessions, then choose a suitable class through the online enrolment page. Enrolment and payment are required before attending. If a class is full, contact the team about the waiting list.
