Activity Details

Lake Macquarie Junior Cricket Club is a friendly and inclusive club offering cricket programs for children aged 5 to 18. Whether your child is just starting out or already playing competitively, we have opportunities for all skill levels.

  • Woolworths Cricket Blast: A skills-based introduction to cricket for children aged 5-10, run in 8-week programs during Term 4 or Term 1. No equipment necessary, and participants receive a Cricket Blast shirt in their favourite team colours.
  • Daughters & Dads Cricket: A fun, structured backyard cricket program combining game-based activities for kids and parents to develop skills together.
  • Junior Competitions: We field teams in all competitions from U10 to U18, including Saturday morning and Monday afternoon sessions during school terms 4 and 1 (October to March). Games are played on Saturdays or weekday evenings at multiple locations.
  • Training Facilities: Access to turf and synthetic pitches and training nets suitable for junior cricketers of all abilities.
  • Pathways: We provide a clear pathway for junior male and female players to progress into senior cricket through our association with Cardiff Boolaroo District Cricket Club.

New players are welcome. Register to play or join training-only sessions to experience the club before fully committing to competition play.
