Yarrawonga Yacht Club is a family-friendly sailing club situated on the shores of Lake Mulwala, welcoming members of all skill levels and ages. We offer a strong Learn to Sail program for juniors aged 8 and above, as well as adults, with expert instruction to help you develop your skills.
Training and Racing: Club sailing activities take place on Saturdays, featuring off-the-beach and trailer sailer racing. We also offer dragon boat training sessions on Tuesday and Thursday evenings during summer months. Our fleet includes catamarans, mono hull dinghies, and trailable yachts, with a concrete launch ramp and sheltered mooring facility for convenient boat access.
Additional Activities: Beyond sailing, we provide paddling opportunities including dragon boat, outrigger canoes, canoes, kayaks, and paddleboards, with water access available year-round.
Social and Community: Join us for Friday evening Happy Hour where members relax with family and friends while enjoying views across the lake. New members are always welcome to come and try out our aquatic sports, learn new skills, and make new friends. Contact us today to get started.
