The Monaro Hockey Club is a community-focused hockey club based in the Canberra region, continuing the legacy of the Queanbeyan United Hockey Club. Established around 2023, the club offers hockey for enjoyment and competition, welcoming new players and teams of all ages and genders.
The club trains seniors every Wednesday at 6:30 PM on their newly opened home ground at the Regional Sports Complex in South Jerrabomberra, which features a water-based synthetic hockey field. Monaro Hockey Club aims to build a strong, supportive village atmosphere and encourages players to bring their teams and be part of the club's founding community.
Additionally, the club supports its members with community events and club-branded wines to enhance the club spirit.
