The Australian 18 Footers League operates a competitive sailing fleet of 18 Foot Skiffs racing out of Double Bay on Sydney Harbour. Join an established club with a rich history dating back to 1935, competing in the prestigious JJ Giltinan World Trophy and regular season races.

Racing & Competition:

  • Regular season races throughout the 2025-2026 season with up to 30 boats competing
  • Access to the JJ Giltinan World Trophy, the ultimate 18 Footer prize
  • Point Score competition with opportunities to compete internationally
  • Top-performing teams earn subsidised travel to European and international regattas

Membership & Equipment:

  • The League provides fully equipped 18 Foot Skiffs ready to race, including all necessary equipment and trailers
  • Team apparel provided for race days and partner events
  • League covers major equipment repairs due to equipment failure
  • New team opportunities available each season through the Organising Authority allocation process
