Activity Details

The Man Walk - Bellambi is a community-driven men's mental health initiative that meets regularly at Bellambi Pool in Bellambi, NSW. The group provides a supportive and welcoming environment where men can connect, get active, and engage in meaningful conversations to promote mental wellbeing.

Founded to address men's mental health challenges and reduce suicide risk, The Man Walk encourages participation through easy, accessible walks designed to last less than an hour on mostly flat, even surfaces, with rest points available. These walks typically take place in the morning to start the day positively without interfering with family commitments.

Meeting at the scenic Bellambi Pool—a 50-meter ocean pool located at the southern end of Bellambi Beach, easily accessible from Bellambi train station—the walk combines physical activity with social connection in a relaxed and stigma-free setting.

Walk leaders, known as Manbassadors, support new participants and help foster an inclusive atmosphere. Since its inception, The Man Walk has grown significantly across Australia, helping men build supportive relationships, share their experiences, and improve their mental fitness.
