The Tomaree Squash Club, located at Shoal Bay, has been a vibrant part of the local squash community since 1997. Formed by passionate players seeking a new home after the closure of the Nelson Bay courts, the club now boasts up to 70 members and a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. The club runs four competitions annually, including a Club Championship and the Nelson Bay Squash Open, attracting top players from across the state and strong local participation.
