Meadowbank Park is one of our major sporting and recreation areas, offering a diverse range of facilities for visitors to enjoy. Among its amenities are more than 10 playing fields primarily utilized for soccer and cricket, along with netball hard courts and tennis courts. Additionally, the park boasts three playgrounds and a network of walking and cycling paths along the picturesque Parramatta River, forming a vital part of the Ryde Riverwalk.
Within Meadowbank Park, you'll find the Meadowbank Skate Park, a dedicated space designed to cater to the interests of the entire family, including skateboarders, scooter enthusiasts, and BMX riders. This skate park is characterized by several notable features, including a three-meter deep Olympic-standard competition bowl and a dual spine flow bowl. Furthermore, it includes various obstacles such as a euro gap, kickers, rails, kerb banks, and a streetscape skate park area. For beginners, there's a surrounding asphalt track ideal for honing their skills.
To enhance the overall experience, the park offers essential amenities like picnic and shelter facilities, barbecue areas, a climbing wall, and a water refill station. The park's ambiance is further improved by new landscaping and controlled lighting, creating an inviting atmosphere for all visitors.
For those seeking a more active experience, Meadowbank Park also provides a playground equipped with engaging equipment and a climbing net tunnel. Additionally, it features a parkour and bouldering area, perfect for those looking to challenge themselves physically. Sports enthusiasts can enjoy a table-tennis court, while connecting footpaths make it easy to explore the park's various attractions.
To ensure the safety and security of park visitors, CCTV cameras are strategically placed throughout Meadowbank Park, offering peace of mind for all who come to enjoy its facilities.
