Rye Tennis Club, established in 1961, is a vibrant tennis facility located in Rowley Reserve on Elgan Ave, Rye, Victoria. The club features 10 outdoor en tout cas (clay) courts, with 8 courts equipped with modern LED floodlighting, making it ideal for both day and evening play. A double-story clubhouse provides a welcoming hub for members and visitors. The club offers a wide range of activities, including junior and senior competitions, midweek ladies’ and night competitions, casual social play on Monday and Friday evenings, and social hitting throughout the week and on Sundays. The Golden Oldies Social Tennis Group meets Tuesday and Friday mornings, open to players of all ages. The club is home to the ALC Tennis Academy, led by coach Aaron Leeder-Chard, and welcomes both members and non-members for casual play and court hire. Family memberships are available, and courts can be hired for public use, with some restrictions during tournaments. Rye Tennis Club is an affiliated club with Tennis Australia, fostering a friendly and inclusive tennis community in the Mornington Peninsula region.
