Amy’s Gran Fondo is a fully closed-road cycling event on the Great Ocean Road, held in Lorne, Victoria, on Sunday 13 September 2026. It offers both a competitive age-category race and a recreational ride, making it suitable for experienced riders chasing a result as well as participants wanting a spectacular challenge in a supported event setting.
The featured distance is 122km, with a start in Lorne and a finish near the Lorne hotel precinct. The event is part of the Amy’s Great Ocean Road Gran Fondo program, which also includes a 90km out-and-back Medio Fondo, a 45km recreational Medio Fondo from Apollo Bay to Lorne, and a 3km Family Fondo in Lorne.
The 122km age-category race begins at 7.30am, while the 122km recreational ride starts at 7.50am. Riders in the recreational category are given 7.5 hours to complete the course, and e-bikes are permitted in that division. The event is also described as a qualifier for the UCI Gran Fondo World Championships.
With closed roads, coastal scenery and a route through the Great Ocean Road and Otways, Amy’s Gran Fondo is positioned as one of Australia’s most scenic mass participation cycling events.
