About this event
Burson Rock2Ramp Ocean Swim returns to Point Roadknight Beach in Anglesea on Monday 28 December 2026, bringing swimmers and families together for a popular summer event on Victoria’s Great Ocean Road. Proudly supported by TLC Healthcare, the swim is organised in connection with the Anglesea Surf Life Saving Club and has been a regular summer fixture since its origins as the club’s fundraising swim in 1993.
With distances designed to suit a range of ages and abilities, the event includes a 200m junior swim and the Burson 1.2km All Ages Swim, with additional race options promoted for participants seeking a longer challenge. Whether entering a first ocean swim, building open-water confidence or returning for another Rock2Ramp, participants can enjoy an organised community event in a scenic coastal setting.
Point Roadknight Beach provides a memorable backdrop, with its sheltered coastal surroundings and classic Anglesea surf atmosphere. The event combines the challenge of swimming in open water with the relaxed, welcoming feel of a summer day at the beach, making it suitable for families, recreational swimmers and experienced competitors alike.
Rock2Ramp is more than a race: it is a longstanding Anglesea tradition that supports the local surf life saving community while celebrating participation, fitness and the enjoyment of the coast. Come along to swim, support the competitors or soak up the lively atmosphere at Point Roadknight Beach.
