About this event

Surf Run is the final race of the ATR Summer Series, taking runners to the scenic Fleurieu Peninsula for a multi-distance event based at Horseshoe Bay in Port Elliot.

The 2027 program features Sunday distances of 30km, 21.1km, 15km, 10km and 5km, with all distances starting and finishing at Port Elliot Caravan Park. The 21.1km option is presented as a half marathon, while the 30km course is the series’ XL-distance event.

A 2km Kids Race will be held on Saturday afternoon at 5pm. Every finisher, including participants in the Kids Race, will receive a finisher’s medal.

Event schedule:

2km Kids Race: Saturday, 13 March 2027 at 5pm
30km: Sunday, 14 March 2027 at 7.30am
21.1km Half Marathon: Sunday, 14 March 2027 at 8am
15km: Sunday, 14 March 2027 at 8.30am
10km: Sunday, 14 March 2027 at 9am
5km: Sunday, 14 March 2027 at 9.15am

With options for experienced trail runners, shorter-distance participants and children, Surf Run offers a welcoming way to finish the ATR Summer Series in a coastal South Australian setting.
