Carrick Hill to Glenelg, Adelaide, SA, Australia

Description

Event Date:

The Bloody Long Walk: Adelaide is a 35km endurance challenge taking place on Sunday, 26 October 2025, starting at Carrick Hill in Springfield and finishing at Glenelg, Adelaide, SA.

Participants can walk, jog, or run this scenic route, enjoying stunning landscapes while supporting a vital cause. The event raises essential funds for the Mito Foundation to advance research and find cures for mitochondrial disease (mito).

Mitochondrial disease is a serious, often fatal genetic disorder that impairs the cells' ability to produce energy. Approximately one in 200 Australians carry genetic mutations that increase their risk, and every week, one Australian child is born with a life-threatening form of mito. Tragically, most children diagnosed with this disease do not survive beyond their first five years.

Join this inspiring community event to challenge yourself physically and contribute to life-saving research efforts.
