Sunday Mail Bridge to Brisbane
Event location
Description
The Sunday Mail Bridge to Brisbane, held on Sunday, 14 September 2025, is Queensland’s largest and most celebrated fun run. This iconic event attracts an estimated 35,000 participants of all ages and abilities to run, jog, walk, or wheel through Brisbane’s stunning streets, bridges, and landmarks.
Participants can choose between two distances: a 10km course and a 5km course, both culminating at the vibrant Brisbane Showgrounds.
The 10km route starts at the southern end of the Gateway Bridge, taking runners over the bridge before descending to the finish line at the Showgrounds. The 5km run begins at Hercules Park, Hamilton, follows Kingsford Smith Drive, loops through Bowen Hills, and finishes at the same location.
This annual event is not only a celebration of community and fitness but also raises vital funds for Queensland charities, aiming to raise over $1.1 million in 2025. Registration includes an event shirt, race number, official timing, a finisher’s certificate and medal, and public transport to and from the event.
