The Coffs Coast Ocean Swims is a relaxed harbour swim held in the sheltered waters of Jetty Beach in Coffs Harbour, creating an easy-going setting that suits families, first-time swimmers and regular ocean swim enthusiasts alike.
Set beside the iconic timber jetty, the event offers a friendly festival atmosphere with calm conditions, clear water and plenty of encouragement on shore and in the water. There are three swim distances on the day: a 600m swim, a 300m junior swim and a 2km swim, giving participants options to suit different ages and abilities. The 600m and 2km courses are open to older swimmers, while the junior swim provides a shorter distance for younger participants.
The event has a strong community feel, with swimmers, supporters and spectators gathering around the harbour to enjoy the atmosphere, the coastline and the post-swim buzz.
