The fisiocrem Cut Ultra Marathon returns on Saturday, 25 October 2025, in Nerang, Gold Coast, Queensland.
This unique elimination-style race is known as "the ultra for those who have no interest in running an ultra." Competitors run repeated 1.5km laps, covering a minimum distance of 10.5km and up to a maximum of 50km.
Starting from lap 7 (10.5km), runners who are not deemed "safe" will be cut at the end of each lap. A "safe" runner is one who finishes ahead of the designated cut-off position each lap. For detailed rules and the cutting process, please refer to the official event website.
The winner is the first runner to cross the finish line at the end of the final lap.
After the race, stay for the Halloween Hustle, a fun twilight and night trail run designed for all ages and abilities in the community.
