About this event

Fernleigh 15 is a popular community event on the iconic Fernleigh Track, offering a 15km run, walk or roll from Adamstown to Belmont through Newcastle and Lake Macquarie. It also includes a 1.5km kids run, making it a lively day for families as well as serious and recreational participants.

The course follows a former rail line and is known for its scenic, mostly natural setting and exclusive event-day access. The track is closed to the public during the event, giving participants a rare chance to enjoy the route without general foot and bike traffic.
