Freo Ocean Classic Run Swim Run is a unique multisport event at Leighton Beach, North Fremantle, combining path running, beach running and an ocean swim in one coastal challenge.
Participants complete a run-swim-run course, alternating between running sections and a swim in the ocean waters off Leighton Beach. The event is suited to both runners who swim and swimmers who run, with the course offering a varied mix of firm beach terrain, coastal paths and open-water swimming.
Entries are available for solo participants or teams, allowing competitors to share the disciplines or take on the complete challenge individually. Standalone options are also offered for those who prefer to enter a path run, beach run or ocean swim without completing the combined event.
The event takes place on Saturday, 14 November 2026, as part of the wider Freo Ocean Classic Series. Participants can expect a lively coastal-event atmosphere, with the course supported by surf lifesavers and safety crews. Run and swim distances are to be confirmed closer to the event.
