The 1.9 km swim takes place in the calm, protected waters of Hastings River, providing ideal conditions for the opening leg. The demanding 90 km bike course winds through rolling terrain with 1,455 meters of total elevation gain, offering breathtaking ocean views along the Pacific coastline. The 21.1 km run completes the journey through the heart of Port Macquarie, featuring both coastal and inland sections with varied terrain.
