About this event
The Jetts Grafton Jacaranda Running Festival takes place on Sunday, 8 November 2026, in Grafton, New South Wales, as the closing event of the Grafton Jacaranda Festival.
Set among Grafton’s famous jacaranda blooms, the festival offers four events for different ages and abilities:
- Half marathon: a 21.1-kilometre course starting at 6am, with hydration stations along the route and an opportunity to run through Grafton and South Grafton.
- 10km: starting at 7am, this distance provides a challenging yet accessible option for runners building towards longer events.
- 5km: starting at 7.30am, the course is suitable for first-time participants and includes a crossing of the iconic Grafton Bridge, with views of the Clarence River.
- 2km Junior Dash: starting at 9am, this family-friendly event welcomes children and allows parents to run alongside their child. Participants can also choose an optional purple colour-run finish.
All races start and finish at Memorial Park, with the courses showcasing Grafton’s historic streets, jacaranda-lined scenery, the Clarence River and the distinctive Grafton Bridge. Whether chasing a personal best, taking on a new distance or enjoying an active family morning, participants can experience the city in full bloom while joining one of the region’s most colourful community running events.
