Kids Experience Kayaking gives young paddlers a 90-minute on-water session at West Fyans Street Boat Ramp in Geelong, mixing basic paddling skills with games, confidence building and plenty of splash-filled fun.
For Kids Aged 8 to 16
This easy-rated kayaking experience is designed for children aged 8 to 16. It is a friendly way to try kayaking before joining a longer term-time class, with the session focused on learning through play rather than formal competition.
What Happens on the Water
Participants learn paddling basics using single sit-on-top kayaks, then put those skills into practice through on-water games and activities. The format helps kids build confidence, enjoy teamwork and explore the water in a supportive environment.
