Description
The Hydro Tasmania King Island Imperial 20, held on Sunday, 8 March 2026, is a premier running event on King Island, located midway between Victoria and mainland Tasmania.
The highlight is a challenging 32km handicapped footrace that starts in Naracoopa and finishes in Currie, taking participants along a scenic, undulating coastal route showcasing the island’s stunning landscapes.
Runners can compete solo or as part of a team relay comprising 2 to 4 members, with designated changeover zones every 8 or 16 kilometres.
Additional events include an 8km race and a Junior Dash for children in Grade 2 and below, making the event accessible and enjoyable for all ages and abilities.
